Full front PPF with wrapped edges on hood, fenders, bumper, and mirrors, finished with a ceramic coating over the film.

- Subject
- Tesla Model Y — new delivery
- Products installed
- Self-healing urethane PPF + ceramic coating
- Location
- Magnolia, TX
- Completed
- April 2026
What the customer wanted
- Protect soft factory paint before the first highway trip
- Preserve resale value on a lease-return vehicle
- No visible film edges on the hood or fenders
How we approached it
Tesla's factory paint is notoriously thin and soft, and Texas highways are notoriously full of gravel. Full front coverage on a new delivery is the single highest-value protection decision an owner can make, and it is cheapest before the first chip.
The car came to us at under 200 miles. We decontaminated and clay-barred the front clip, corrected two minor transit defects, then laid the film. Coating over the top adds the hydrophobic behavior most owners want on top of the impact protection.
Results
- Full front end — bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors — under self-healing urethane
- Edges wrapped where possible so no film line is visible from normal viewing distance
- Paint underneath stays factory-original through the ownership period
